Because we strive to build instruments of the highest quality, we hold no reservations about offering a Limited Lifetime Warranty to the original owner of any Starr Guitar purchased new! The warranty covers any type of structural defect occurring from the manufacturing process. However, this is limited to what we actually produce, namely the body and neck. We can't warranty the hardware since we don't, at least at this point, control the manufacturing of these pieces. We will cover electronics should they go bad within a year of purchase on a replacement basis and anything that needs to be replaced will be of a current comparable model. Paint and other finishing work cannot be covered as we fully expect it to chip, dent and/or wear off over time, be it nitrocellulose or urethane. Normal wear and tear on a guitar you love to play will also cause parts to wear out. Those aren't covered either, we'd go out of business if we did that. However, should you need to replace something, contact us and we will make arrangements to get the parts replaced at a very reasonable cost to you. Finally, should you feel the need to modify your guitar, contact us and we will make arrangements to do it for you. If you take it upon yourself, you void the warranty, period! We can't control what others do and we won't be responsible for their mistakes or poor workmanship. Our repair service is top notch and we want you to take advantage of it. We will offer deep discounts to our customers on work done to our Starr Guitars! Contact us with your requests. As a final note, our warranty is mostly common sense. We firmly stand behind our products and offer a warranty equal to even those of large guitar companies like Fender and Gibson. We doubt you will need to use the warranty. But, since nothing is perfect, we make ourselves readily available should you need us. We are an Authorized Repair Facility for many major brands and we are comfortable working on new guitars as well as vintage instruments. Thank you for your support! |
