A Word on Pickups

Our base price pickup of choice is Seymour Duncan. For a small upcharge, we will gladly install our custom wound Voodoo/Florence pickups in any Classic Series instrument. Remember that the Voodoos are very vintage-inspired but we have them custom voiced for Starr Guitars. Please let us know at the time of your order.

Upgrades and Options

Here are just some of the custom options our the Starr Guitars Custom Shop offers. The prices for these options varies greatly depending on materials, parts and labor and the scope of additional work.

• Figured woods and rare or exotic woods
• Weight restricted woods (body blanks that weigh less than 4 pounds) such as featherweight swamp ash, alder and mahogany
• Special inlays: for custom designs or logos you want embedded in the fret board or headstock
• Our exclusive Starr Guitars Father Time Finish Process™: The ultimate antique or "relic" finish
• Custom paint and graphics such as real flames, heavy sparkles, shade shift, etc.
• Special hardware: for hardware that falls outside of our standard hardware options
• Special Pickups: for pickups that falls outside of our standard pickup options
